Australian Boxer Michael Zerafa knows that the timing could not be better for a bout against fellow Aussie Tim Tsyzu, with the door open for the biggest Australian grudge match in 20 years.

Australian Boxer Michael Zerafa claims it's time for fellow Aussie Tim Tsyzu to be a realist and fight him following Tsyzu's defeat to Russian Bakhram Murtazaliev.

The 29-year-old got brutally beaten down as Murtazaliev knocked him to the canvas four times before Tsyzu's team threw in the white towel to stop the fight in the third round. In an interview with SkyNews.com.au Zerafa said that he didn't have time to tune in for Tsyzu's fight but said he managed to catch some footage afterwards.

"Between February and March 2025 would be an ideal time. Tim needs to spend with his family and re-group over Christmas and then will give the fight fans what they want," he said.
