People living in Parramatta Street in Rawtenstall have said they are 'fed up' of customers of nearby bars making their lives 'a misery'

Residents have voiced their frustration after a nearby bar was granted permission to open until 4.30am following a series of anti-social incidents including customers using their front doors 'like a urinal'.

Marion, who has lived in Parramatta Street since 1970, said she was awoken the early hours of one morning to find a drunk man urinating against her front door. "It keeps me awake, we're both in our 80s, and we like to go to bed early but we just can't sleep," she told LancsLive. Miraj Hussen, who has lived in Parramatta Street with his parents for 10 years, said he was woken one morning a few weeks ago to a group of men fighting in the street. "It was about three weeks ago," he told LancsLive.
