Nationals leader David Littleproud says it was “puerile” of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to suggest Australians have a healthy scepticism of ‘Chicken Littles’ in an attempt to discourage people from voting no in the Voice to Parliament referendum.

“I think it is beholden on political leaders to a level of civility – that was puerile,” Mr Littleproud told Sky News host Sharri Markson.

“There is also doubt about the model that is being put up because the Prime Minister won’t bring the Australian people into his trust.”
