Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle were back on our screens on Thursday (August 1st) to present This Morning and fans were delighted to see the pair reunited
Unexpectedly, the hashtag on X - previously known as Twitter - was awash with compliments on Thursday , as numerous social media users expressed their delight at Josie and Craig stepping in for Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard during their summer breaks.
A third person chimed in adding: "Best presenters today, please make Josie and Craig permanent @itv #ThisMorning."The warm reception was a stark contrast to last week's stand-in hosts, Alison Hammond - who usually presents with X Factor star Dermot O'Leary on Fridays - but was instead joined by Joel Dommett.
He queried: "On a scale of one to 10, how much have you missed me," to which Josie replied: "About an eight."In another moment, Craig seemed to momentarily lose track of his script and offered an apology to the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! celebrity and those watching at home for being somewhat "rusty".
