Eagle-eyed TV fans claimed they'd spotted the performer on TV before and it was unfair on the other contestants.
The latest episode of much-loved ITV show Britain's Got Talent returned to our screens this week - but fans all had the same complaint about the Golden Buzzer act.
And one singer who the judges pressed the Golden Buzzer for - sending her straight through to the live shows - caught the eye of some eagle-eyed telly fans who said they'd spotted her on screen before. Taryn, who works as a special needs educator and uses music to help rehabilitate children, said she applied to the show to put a smile on people's faces.
According to fans, she had featured on Starstruck previously, a show fronted by Olly Murs which sees singers given the chance to transform into their musical idols. The popular series is judged by Sheridan Smith, Adam Lambert, and Beverley Knight.
