Kit Green, portrayed by actor Jacob Roberts, landed on the cobbles earlier this year claiming to be the son of Weatherfield's own Bernie , who was given up for adoption nearly three decades ago. After Bernie managed to track him down a few months back, it seemed Kit had no interest in establishing a connection.
Yet, his true sentiment towards Bernie surfaced during a tense exchange that showcased a distinct distaste for her. This turn of events has led fans to hypothesise that the man professing to be Kit Green is actually an impostor. The theory has ignited conversations on a fan page dedicated to Coronation Street on Facebook , where one viewer suggested: 'I don't think Kit is Bernie's son I think he has stolen the identity of his housemate.
