Joel Deering is currently presumed dead with police believing he has taken his own life
Calum Lill has gripped the nation with his portrayal of Coronation Street villain Joel Deering in recent months and while his reign of terror looks set to come to an end soon, the actor has lifted the lid on what the next steps of his career could look like. Coronation Street 's Calum Lill has played a convincing criminal since joining the ITV soap last year as duty solicitor and love interest for Dee-Dee Bailey played by Channique Sterling-Brown.
With him set to face trial, the police believe he ended his life. Fans took to social media today to ask Calum about his time on Coronation Street. When asked about his favourite memory of working on Coronation Street he responded: ''My favourite memory working at Corrie is just being in the green room which is what actors call the staff room. Being in there chatting to everyone listening to their stories, listening to everyone wind each other up.
