An ITV journalist has taken to social media to thanks doctors after his "unexpected" stay at Queen's Medical Centre. Peter Bearne shared the praise in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday, November 5.
Peter works as the education correspondent for the Midlands. He praised the team on ward C24 for looking after him so well whilst he was in hospital. He wrote: "Good to be home after an unexpected spell in hospital. A big thank you to the wonderful caring team on ward C24 who looked after me so well - the very best of our wonderful # NHS @TeamNUH #Nottingham."
In a follow-up post replying to a comment, he added that he thanked the staff on the ward with a card and some chocolates when he left to show his appreciation.
