Emmerdale enthusiasts are all a flutter with gossip that the legendary Zak Dingle might have left behind a mysterious love child - born from an affair with another iconic resident of the village. It's rumoured that this secretive progeny is walking among them even now.
The sleepy hamlet of Emmerdale has been draped in sorrow this week as they faced Zak's on-screen departure, honouring him with heart-wrenching funeral scenes taking centre stage in recent episodes. Zak's absence had previously been chalked up to a stay in Scotland with granddaughter Debbie, played by Charley Webb.
Kim Tate, personified by Claire King, was visibly shaken by the news of Zak's passing, shedding tears that briefly interrupted her dispute with estranged hubby Will Taylor .
