During Good Morning Britain on Tuesday, host Susanna Reid had to suddenly interrupt the programme to deliver some major breaking news.
It's understood the US has continuously aimed to extradite Assange to have him trialled in their court, which prompted GMB's Adil to propose that this release seems to have arrived "out of the blue". Supporting correspondent Michelle Morrison also expressed her agreement, commenting that this has concluded twelve years of Assange's fight for freedom.
