'What were you thinking'
ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! has served up another surprise eviction, but it was host Ant MacPartlin who was shocked by the latest decision. Eighties pop icon Boy George packed up his campside belongings and made his way over the bridge to meet the show hosts as he said goodbye to this year's competition.
The singer told Antand Declan Donnelly: "Being honest, I'm happy to go today". Asked why he had decided to take part in the ITV reality show, he said: "For me it was like can I do it? It was a lot tougher than I thought."George, 61, said the experience had been life-changing for him. "It makes you appreciate what you have in your life," he said. "And I'm sticking to the diet, it was amazing," he added.
And George told Ant and Dec about Matt, who was controversial late arrival to camp: "I thought having Matt in here was really challenging and I had to tell him what I thought." But he added about the West Suffolk MP, who has been suspended by the Tory party for taking part in the show: "He's just a person. He's mucked in. He was doing a lot to help everyone. Everyone was kind and thoughtful, there's a lot of kindness in there.
