Joss Stone appeared on ITV's Lorraine show with the Change + Check choir to perform their new single, dedicated to producer Hannah Hawkins who passed away from breast cancer
Lorraine viewers were left emotional on Friday when the show's Change + Check choir, featuring Joss Stone, performed a new charity single called 'Golden'. The song was dedicated to Hannah Hawkins, a 33 year old producer for Lorraine who sadly passed away from secondary breast cancer.
Lorraine producer Helen Addis also spoke before the live performance and said: "It's a real pinch-me moment and I cannot believe I'm sat on the sofa with this one ! What is so powerful and so golden about it this year is that we're doing it in memory of our dear, darling producer Hannah Hawkins. She lost her life a week ago today to secondary breast cancer.
Fans took to X, formally Twitter, to share their emotional reactions to the Change + Check campaign, choir and new charity single. One viewer wrote: "#Lorraine Joss Stone and change +check choir- just beautiful. Lady singing on back row in glasses made me well done ladies". The campaign, which raises awareness of the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, was founded by ITV Lorraine producer and breast cancer survivor Helen Addis. Profits from the single will go to breast cancer charity Future Dreams.
