TV's DNA Journey is set to air a jaw-dropping episode that will see actor John Simm uncovering an earth-shattering family secret.
With Phil by his side, we follow John as he traces his real roots and meets the biological father who was a stranger to him all these years. Throughout the episode, the duo faces a rollercoaster of emotions, handling their discoveries with genuine candor, a touch of humour, and brotherly support. It all begins with John reflecting on a revealing chat with his mum about his birth: "When they had me, in the sixties, they were both young...they were together and then they split up and were both with other people and then they got back together and then they had me. And I'd never heard this story before."
Shocked by the revelation, John says: "The thing that blows my mind, me and my dad, we played around here loads of times, we definitely played here a lot and he might have been in the same pub one night and watched me play."
