Will.i.Am, Tom Jones, LeAnn Rimes and McFly's Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher headed on the pitch at Old Trafford for an extraordinary live performance to kick off the new series of The Voice
The stars of The Voice UK kicked off the new ITV series in style - by heading to the home of Manchester United for a huge live performance at the Theatre of Dreams.
New The Voice team Danny and Tom, who will sit on a joint chair for the first ever time on the show, both have guitars slung around their necks as they join in the performance on vocals and the strings. While Danny is well known to be a Bolton Wanderers fan, and has reguarly played in charity matches including the huge Soccer Aid televised all-star matches, Tom said in the video that he has NEVER walked on a football pitch before their United gig.He continued: "I've never stood on a real football pitch before I don't think."
But the new series will see a joint chair for the first time - with McFly's Danny and Tom sharing the honours as a team. They have to jointly decide before they can turn the chair too.
