Man United-linked Ivan Toney is set to leave Brentford after a year of transfer speculation, with the striker having finally agreed a move away from the Premier League club
Ivan Toney has finalised a deal to join Saudi Pro League team Al-Ahli, concluding a year-long transfer saga which saw the striker regularly linked with Manchester United.
However, neither club showed serious interest in the 28-year-old, who represented the Three Lions at Euro 2024 over the summer. Brentford manager Thomas Frank has excluded Toney from both of his matchday squads so far this season. "He could be here after August 30 and he could not be here. Basically, everything is up in the air. I've said the whole time that if he's here I'm very happy, if he's not here then I'm happy on his behalf. Who knows, let's see, let's see what will happen."
