The Ross County captain avoided a second booking in the first half of the Premiership clash.
Referee David Munro made a "massive mistake" by not issuing a second yellow card to Ross County captain Jack Baldwin during the clash with Rangers, according to one pundit.
And with the Light Blues holding the lead whistler Munro opted to show leniency when Baldwin pulled back Sam Lammers as the Dutchman looked to break through the home defence after a neat pass from Cyriel Dessers - with the challenge going unpunished. VAR cannot intervene to award a yellow card unless a yellow card dished out be a referee should be upgraded to a red card.
"I’ve got to say I agree with them. I think Mr Munro knows he has already booked Baldwin and he has not pulled out a yellow card. That is the inconsistency, but that is a yellow card all day long.”
