The Manchester City party at a Greek restaurant followed a 3-1 win over West Ham yesterday to complete their sixth Premier League success in seven seasons under manager Pep Guardiola.

Jack Grealish led Manchester City 's celebrations into the early hours of this morning after his side secured an historic fourth successive Premier League title.

The battle for top spot went down to the final day but the reigning champions held their nerve, where they could not afford a slip-up with Arsenal breathing down their necks. Phil Foden's double got City off to a dream start and, having been shaken by Mohammed Kudus's goal for the Hammers, a driven Rodri effort completed the win.

A 23-game unbeaten run extinguished Arsenal's hopes of their first Premier League title since the Gunners' Invincible season in 2003/04 as Mikel Arteta's side missed out by two points. Third place went to Liverpool in Jurgen Klopp’s final game.

With City having shown little sign throughout the run-in of pressure affecting them, only optimistic Arsenal supporters were expecting them to slip up.Jack Grealish leaves the Manchester City title winning party in the city early this morning Jack Grealish leaves the Manchester City title winning party in a car in the early hours

The atmosphere had already been buoyant but it was at this point the party really seemed to begin and City revelled in the occasion. The Hammers stirred before the break as Kudus forced a save from Stefan Ortega and then pulled one back with a stunning overhead strike. "In terms of numbers, nobody has been better than us - the records, the goals, the points and four in a row," said Guardiola, who praised Arsenal counterpart Arteta and departing Liverpool boss Klopp. The double would come hot on the heels of last season's treble, leaving the City boss - whose deal runs out in 2025 - running out of things to motivate him.

Some of the moments I'm a bit tired but some of the moments I love, and after I said 'OK, we are here'.

Takehiro Tomiyasu levelled three minutes later, which was around the time West Ham reduced the deficit at the Etihad, but there would be no dramatic twist in the title race. Havertz signalled the Gunners intent when he drilled over during the first minute, but the partisan feeling around the Emirates dissipated when news filtered through that Phil Foden had put City ahead inside two minutes.

A City fan holds a loft a cardboard cut-out of the Premier League trophy with the number four in the middle It was starting to go horribly wrong at the Emirates, but a dramatic turn of events before half-time provided hope for Arteta's team. It helped give Arsenal a second wind as Pickford denied Odegaard before substitute Emile Smith Rowe smashed a volley onto the crossbar.

Liverpool supporters show their appreciation for Klopp as they hold aloft a banner which reads 'Jurgen Lives Forever'Klopp is all smiles as he thanks his players on the pitch in his final game in charge There is plenty for incoming Feyenoord boss Arne Slot to deal with but he has at least been left with a squad which, but for a two-week blip in April, would probably have been in the final-day title picture instead of providing the support act to Klopp's Anfield farewell.

But this was very much a celebration of the recent past with the name of the manager, noticeably less animated on the touchline, sung constantly. When Wataru Endo's shot was tipped around a post by Jose Sa, Alexander-Arnold whipped in the corner, Cody Gakpo flicked it on to Salah at the far post and his shot deflected up off Bueno for Quansah to force the ball home on the line.
