Jack Whitehall has transformed his lifestyle and diet since being told by a doctor that he had “pre-gout' and could develop the painful arthritic condition if he didn’t change his ways
Jack Whitehall has opened up about the health scare that gave him a "big wake-up call" - the threat of developing gout. The 36 year old funnyman, who recently embraced fatherhood with the arrival of his daughter Elsie with model girlfriend Roxy Horner, realised it was time to ditch the "dad bod" and overhaul his lifestyle for his role in the new psychological thriller series Mallice.
This revelation comes after Jack's cheeky confession on The One Show, where he shared a "vicious lie" about his dad, Michael Whitehall, saying: "We loved working together. But we did have a really good time doing that, but we were desperate to find something else to do and we were getting quite desperate, to be honest. Even, at one point last year Michael unfortunately had to go in for a colonoscopy.
In other news, Jack has shot up the ranks to become one of the UK's highest-earning comedians. Known for his role in Fresh Meat, Jack has reportedly raked in a stunning £2 million just last year, pushing his net worth to a whopping £11.4 million.
