Tasmanian senator Jacqui Lambie says her experiment in state politics has come to an end and apologises to Premier Jeremy Rockliff for the 'instability' her party has caused.

Senator Jacqui Lambie says she will no longer run state candidates in Tasmania n politics after a turbulent weekend for her Jacqui Lambie Network.

"I will say to those ordinary Tasmanians now that want a shot in politics, I am not big enough to make that happen," she said.Senator Lambie said Mr Jenner would be her last Tasmanian state MP, but she would back him "to the hilt" if he wanted to contest future state elections.The Jacqui Lambie Network's implosion in Tasmania follows a growing list of Australian namesake parties that have quickly encountered turbulence.

She said the difference between her Senate team and Mr Jenner was that they were all veterans, meaning "it was much, much easier" for Senator Lambie to manage. Just months after the Tasmanian election, two of the three Jacqui Lambie Network MPs are kicked out of the party, and say they will stay on as independents.

"That's put … a little bit of pressure on him as well and that's not something that was ever in my intention," she said.
