Man United winger Jadon Sancho scored his first goal since returning to Borussia Dortmund on Saturday night as he bagged against Werder Bremen
Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has scored his first goal since he went back to Borussia Dortmund as he helped his team win 2-1 against Werder Bremen.
Dortmund's coach, Edin Terzic, has given Sancho a vote of confidence. He said: "We were working in training all week on him getting into situations where he can gain confidence. It showed what he is capable of, and hopefully, he can continue like this." Terzic called for patience, pointing out: "We know that not everyone is at 100 per cent. Jadon hasn't played for a long time, he lacks rhythm. It's often the case that the boys come back after a long downtime or a long break. In the beginning, when everything is new and fun again, you fire up straight away. And then every now and then there's a dip like that."
