Bournemouth winger Jaidon Anthony has thanked Leeds United's fan-base for their backing throughout his loan spell at Elland Road after the 'toughest' year of his life
Jaidon Anthony has paid tribute to Leeds United's supporters following the end of his Elland Road loan spell. The winger made his final appearance for the Whites in Sunday's Championship play-off final defeat to Southampton.
The 24-year-old moved to West Yorkshire on a season-long loan deal from Bournemouth last summer as part of the deal that took Luis Sinisterra the other way. He struggled to nail down a regular starting spot, with Crysencio Summerville, Wilfried Gnonto and Daniel James ahead of him in the pecking order for a place on the flanks.
Anthony will re-join the Cherries, having only made six starts across all competitions for United, appearing 32 times from off the bench. His two goals in Whites colours came in home fixtures with Watford and Plymouth Argyle.
