Jak Jones has hit back at Judd Trump and Stuart Bingham, branding their complaints about his playing style "pathetic" following his triumphs over them en route to his first World Snooker Championship Final.
"From when I went three up, he just completely changed as a player. I don't know if it's confidence or what. I was prepared to go into that match playing, attacking, and I thought he started that way, but then to say I knocked him out of his rhythm, I don't get it." Jones' approach may come as a surprise to some, especially as he gears up for his first world championship final, given it's also his first time in any professional ranking final. His lack of experience at such a high level raises questions about how he'll cope under pressure, yet Jones' self-assuredness remains evident.
