Singer James Blunt has shared his real name with fans as he celebrated the 20th anniversary of his debut album Back to Bedlam
James Blunt has voiced his relief that a name change wasn't on the cards after all. The 50 year old singer had previously vowed to alter his name to "whatever the public wants" should his debut album 'Back to Bedlam' secure the top spot on its 20th anniversary.
Taking to social media, Blunt offered a delayed expression of gratitude to his fans, posting: "Thank You to everyone who helped get Back To Bedlam to No. 7 in the charts. It's an amazing result after 20 years." The comments section lit up with witty responses from followers, with one fan jesting: "IDK I think Divock Origi suits you," while another remarked, somewhat relieved: "Not disappointed that the press don't have to call you Blunty Mcbluntface heading forward. It's fine."
