Gavin and Stacey may be one of the defining moments in James Corden’s career , but that hasn’t stopped Julia Carey, the actor’s wife, not even catching one episode.The actor and presenter recently spoke out about the show, and how his wife is left puzzled by obsessive fans.
‘My wife to this day who has never watched an episode of Gavin and Stacey is constantly taken aback by the level of “Smithy, let’s get a beer.”‘ ‘It’s a funny world, entertainment. If an alien came down and they had to take a reading on planet Earth by just watching films or TV, they would imagine that if you are chubby, or fat, or big, you never really fall in love, you never have sex, certainly no one really ever finds you attractive,’ he explained.
