The Hoops sealed the Premiership title in style - but Forrest assured the squad are determined to go out and win the Scottish Cup against arch rivals Rangers this weekend.
James Forrest insists Celtic will have no problem switching off party mode and getting back to serious business for the Scottish Cup .
“I remember winning League Cup Finals on Sundays and then having a league game three days later. We couldn’t celebrate it back then but he also brought that winning mentality. He would say to us, ‘You can celebrate down the line, there will be a time’. But he would say, ‘If you want to go down in history and look back thinking you won more than one trophy, that’s what you need to do’. We have to prepare properly and give ourselves the best possible chance to win another one.
“People were saying that we only needed a draw but we went to a place where we’d lost twice this season and started off well. You could see the confidence in the team and after enjoying Saturday, our focus goes on the final. Hopefully we can get another trophy.” Forrest has been hailed by his gaffer as a man for the big occasions and he revealed the secret is to treat EVERY match like a final. He said: “When you come through at Celtic, every game is a big game.
