One of the big surprises that are coming out of DC Studios is DC Universe's Teen Titans movie, which is in the early works. Based on the iconic team from DC Comics, this will be the first time the Teen Titans are depicted on the big-screen in live-action.
This is the first Gunn has commented about anything related to the Teen Titans movie since the initial report. At the time of this story's publication, there is no director attached to Teen Titans, which is a big reason why the movie doesn't isn't filming this year. When Will The Teen Titans Movie Actually Come Out? Close As casting for Teen Titans hasn't even started yet, it begs the question of where in the release schedule DC Studios is eying for the film. Gunn and Peter Safran have made it clear that they are not going to rush a film into theaters until the script is 100% in place before they even start principal photography. While the Teen Titans script is being worked on, there haven't been any updates on the progress so far.
