Quizzed on a return, James says: “No, not now. I’m too old, too fat and too slow. Let the young ones do it. I like watching them.”It will kick off in October and feature fewer dance pairings. James is not surprised the BBC has pulled out all the stops to ensure it features in its autumn schedule and thinks that despite its shorter-than-usual run, celebrities will still be desperate to take part.
He says: “It’s their flagship show and if people are allowed to go in pubs and shops, why can’t Strictly come back?Peter Andre wowed by 13-year-old daughter Princess' singing skillsEastEnders' Charlie G Hawkins says he struggled with his fame on the soapInside Liam Gallagher's £3.75m very un-rock 'n' roll home with study & summerhouse“It’s such a great show to be on.
“More people are sitting at home because of what’s been going on so I think the ratings will actually go up.”Topics
