James Maddison passed off his Instagram story featuring Trent Alexander-Arnold mocking Liverpool's controversial defeat at Tottenham Hotspur as "tongue-in-cheek banter."
With England the duo linking up for international duty, it didn't take long for the Spurs summer signing to reference last month's meeting with the Reds, captioning an Instagram story featuring the two national team-mates with "still asking for a replay."
