ITV Chef James Martin was struggling to hold back emotions as he opened up about ITV bosses' decision on the future of his Saturday morning show. The 50-year-old chef spoke out about his show to a sold-out crowd at Birmingham Symphony Hall as a part of his James Martin Live tour.
"But I wanted to let you know about the future of my Saturday show as ITV have just made a decision yesterday," said James before a dramatic pause. James Martin's Saturday Morning programme was involved in some controversy this year after an audio clip was leaked of the chef berating production co-workers during filming behind the scenes at his home.It left it unclear whether ITV would continue with the show in the long term.
