In the midst of preparing the dish, Glynn was perplexed by the absence of spoons for tasting. Even with James Martin joining the hunt, the elusive spoon remained at large, Birmingham Live reports. Top showbiz news Laughter ensued as James playfully pondered if this would be Glynn's final showing on the programme. He teased: "This is Glynn Purnell - this is the first and the last time you'll see him."
