The TV star used to work there when he was younger and it was Barry's Amusements

Back where it all began, James Nesbitt was spotted taking a ride on the Big Dipper as he made his first trip to the newly opened Curry's Fun Park in Portrush this week.

The Bloodlands actor chatted to new owner Jacqueline Curry who tried to tempt him back to his old job on the Big Dipper and let him know there is certainly a position for him if he fancies it.In a statement on their Facebook, Curry's Fun Park said Nesbitt "remarked that the Dipper seemed an awful lot faster than what he remembered".

The Trufelli family owned Barry’s for 93 years before announcing in 2019 they were putting the business up for sale. Earlier this year it was officially reopened by the Curry family, much to the delight of customers.
