The Northern Irish link to the light sequence has been announced as 'a memorable light show' in Belfast for viewers at home
Northern Irish acting legend James Nesbitt has been announced as one of the performers at the Coronation Concert’s ‘Lighting up the Nation’ event.
The 'Lighting up the Nation' sequence see the UK unite in celebration through projections, lasers, drone displays and illuminations.The BBC has confirmed at the Bloodlands actor will perform a poem written specially for this occasion by Daljit Nagra, Chair of the Royal Society of Literature, as famous landmarks, areas of natural beauty and street parties will connect through a beautifully choreographed display of light.
Catherine Catton, Head of Commissioning, Factual Entertainment & Events said: "The Lighting up the Nation sequence promises to be a truly spectacular part of the Coronation Concert.
