Reece James has been ruled out of the World Cup this winter as a result of his knee injury.after being forced off in the 62nd minute of the match.James was forced off in the Champions League victory over AC Milan at the San Siro
The 22-year-old didn’t look too happy as he limped off the pitch after landing awkwardly, but was later seen on his feet shaking hands at full time. James has since been the subject of speculation regarding how bad his injury actually was, with manager Graham Potter saying: “We’re hoping he’ll be okay., writing: “Fingers crossed it’s not a bad one. Love for all the messages, I appreciate you all.”the player will now be ruled out for around eight weeks.
The statement said: “Following the knee injury sustained in our away match against AC Milan, Reece has received treatment from the Chelsea medical department and visited a specialist this weekend.
