Northampton Town have signed former Manchester United and Port Vale striker James Wilson and ex-AFC Wimbledon goalkeeper Nik Tzanev on one-year deals.The 28-year-old, who has a further 12-month option on his Northampton deal, spent three seasons with Port Vale and scored 23 goals in 105 appearances before being released following their relegation from League One last term."He has undoubted quality and is a little different to the players we have in the squad.
Tzanev, 27, is a New Zealand international and made 126 appearances during seven years with Wimbledon. "Nik will come in to complement, support and challenge Lee Burge and his arrival strengthens and adds a little more experience to our goalkeeping department," said Brady.
