Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher couldn't resist poking fun at Gary Neville after Manchester United's defeat to Brighton on Saturday
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has taken a swipe at Gary Neville's criticism of Manchester United after the former Old Trafford defender launched a social media attack on the Glazer family following Saturday's 3-1 home defeat to Brighton.
Although the Red Devils did score through Hannibal Mejbri 17 minutes from time, the young midfielder's first Premier League goal was no more than a consolation as Roberto De Zerbi's side earned a fourth successive victory against the Old Trafford outfit. The 48-year-old, who spent his entire at United after graduating through the club's academy, claimed the Glazers have "overseen 10 years of mediocrity" and "set the culture of greed, ill-discipline, indecision and uncertainty that runs right through the club". He later added that "football is volatile so results on the pitch can be erratic and cyclical but if the off the pitch stuff".
