‘I only have love in my heart for everyone. I love and support the Jewish community.’ Jamie Foxx has apologised for posting a message accused of being antisemitic.
explained that Foxx’s post can be seen to reference the ‘Jewish deicide’, a belief that ‘Jews are collectively responsibly for the killing of Jesus.’
Jamie has now taken to Instagram again apologising to ‘the Jewish community and everyone who was offended by my post.’ Regarding the post in question, he says he meant Jesus was betrayed by those he thought were his friends, and wrote: ‘To clarify, I was betrayed by a dake friend and that’s what I meant with “they” not anything more.He offered his ‘deepest apologies to anyone who was offended.’Signing off, he wrote: ‘Nothing but love always, Jamie Foxx.’
