The 57-year-old actor appeared to be in good spirits despite his recent split from girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp . He donned a white t-shirt, grey shorts, neon green socks, and white sneakers for the outing, accessorized with black sunglasses. Foxx also took to Instagram to promote his friend Loren Ridinger's book, 'Scrambled or Sunny Side Up,' posing with Ridinger in a cozy grey tracksuit and diamond chain.
In the caption, he praised the book, stating, 'This is a book we all need. This book is not about dying. It's a book about living and how to make your time really matter. How to find yourself in times of darkness. Something we all can relate to.' He further expressed his love and gratitude towards Ridinger, acknowledging the loss of her late husband and their shared friend. This outing comes a week after reports surfaced that Foxx and Huckstepp had ended their year and a half relationship. A source close to Foxx confirmed the split to PEOPLE, stating that the two are no longer together. They were first linked in 2023 following Foxx's six-year relationship with Katie Holmes, which concluded in 2019. Foxx and Huckstepp's last public appearance together was on October 30, 2024, during a romantic trip to Mexico. A month prior, they were spotted enjoying dinner with friends at Nobu Malibu, a restaurant significant for their relationship as it's where they first made their debut as a couple in August 2023.The pair might have initially crossed paths in August 2022 when Huckstepp attended the Los Angeles premiere of Foxx's Netflix film, 'Night Shift.' Although they never made an official red carpet appearance as a couple, Huckstepp supported Foxx behind the scenes, reportedly joining him on set for several of his projects, including a commercial shoot for BetMGM in July 2024. Sources described their presence as 'cozy' during the shoot. Huckstepp emerged as a 'great' presence in Foxx's life as he recovered from a stroke in April 2023, which caused him to be in a coma for 20 days.
