The perfect winter warmer to make on a cold evening
Curry is a fabulous dish to cosy up with on a chilly autumn evening, yet often people shy away from preparing it at home due to the perceived complexity and time commitment. Nonetheless, celebrity chef Jamie Oliver offers a lamb curry traybake recipe that incredibly simplifies the process just toss all the ingredients into a tray and let the oven do its magic.
Take a sharp knife to score gentle criss-cross patterns over the surface of the lamb. Season well with salt and pepper, then give it a rub down with half the curry paste. Next, spread the yellow split peas out in a large, deep roasting tin. Roughly chop the onions, garlic bulb, tomatoes, potato, coriander stalks, and ginger.
