Jamie Vardy blasts Wayne Rooney's claim about meeting over Rebekah
Jamie Vardy has said Wayne Rooney "must be confused" as he denied the former England star's claim he was asked to speak to the fellow footballer during the Euro 2016 about Rebekah Vardy, 40.
Leicester player Jamie, 35, has refuted Wayne's claims in courts, shortly after Rooney gave evidence. "They asked me, as captain, would I be able to speak to Mr Vardy on issues regarding his wife and I think we all knew that it was an awkward subject," Wayne alleged. "I'd need to speak to Mr Vardy and ask him to speak to his wife and ask him to say to ask his wife to calm down."
