Jamie Webster made a mistake all Scousers can relate to ahead of his performance at Glastonbury later today
.
Jamie said: "I’ve been here three times a punter so I've been on this side of the fence plenty of times before, but last year was my first time playing. Every time you come back you get a little bit more attached to it."He added: "I’ve got friends here who I only see at Glastonbury every year, it's an unbelievable place. Just look around no other festivals have got this much going on.
Jamie also stoked more speculation that Blossoms or Rick Astley might be seen on the WoodSIES stage tomorrow, as he had heard rumours that the pair will be performing cover songs from The Smiths. When asked about his thoughts about Elton John headlining this year, Jamie admitted he was a "massive fan" of Elton and had been to see him live in Liverpool.
Jamie quickly corrected himself and called it the M&S Bank Arena, which took over the naming rights in 2019 from the ECHO. Its official account thanked him in an Instagram post with #NotEchoArena.
