Columnist Jane Moore had an emotional conversation with Reverend Richard Coles on the latest episode of ' I'm A Celebrity... '. Both 62 years old, they shared their mutual appreciation for solitude and the common misconceptions about it. Richard expressed the difficulty of being surrounded by others all the time, 'The thing I never do is be with anyone 24/7.
That's the thing, isn't it?' Jane agreed, explaining how her upbringing as an only child influenced her comfort with solitude, 'Because I live on my own, you can go and socialise, but then you can have pockets of just nothing. Silence. Silence is golden.' Jane also mentioned that her partner, Dickie, always gives her a day's grace whenever she goes away. The couple, who were in a celibate civil partnership without children, faced a tough situation when David passed away in 2019. Richard revealed this in his book 'The Madness Of Grief: A Memoir Of Love And Loss'. They plan to spend Christmas together before selling their home and buying new properties next year.
