Strictly Come Dancing's Janette Manrara has opened up about her sadness over the recent controversy surrounding the hit BBC show, which saw two of her friends axed
Janette Manrara has candidly shared her feelings of being 'very saddened' amid the recent Strictly Come Dancing scandal. The beloved professional dancer and It Takes Two host revealed that she's deliberately avoided reaching out to Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima after they were axed from the hit BBC show.
Speaking to The Sun's Fabulous Magazine, Janette confessed: "I've tried to steer clear." She expressed her loyalty to her girlfriends but also her sorrow over the situation and said: "It's complicated and I'm a bit of a girl's girl. I just don't know. They were both really great friends and I feel very saddened by everything that's happening, not just to them but to the involved.
She added that there is 'intensity' that 'sometimes happens in the rehearsal rooms'. Meanwhile, Giovanni has strongly denied Amanda's claims of 'unnecessary, abusive, cruel and mean' behaviour during practices, stating his determination to 'clear name' amid the ongoing BBC investigation.
