The 63-year-old comedian who is currently receiving end of life treatment took time away from palliative care urging fans to be wary after an account pretending to be her was created.
Janey Godley has warned fans to be on alert after a fake TikTok account of the star has been created in a bid to "scam" social media users.
The account has over 1.9k followers and nearly 10,000 likes, however, it doesn't belong to the popular comedian who recently moved into a hospice. Sharing a screenshot of the fake profile, Janey wrote on X: "This is fake on TikTok to scam people." "Please try to forget about all this. Concentrate on being close to your family and loved ones in your room with a view. Lots of love and hugs."
