Jarrad Branthwaite was speaking following Everton's Premier League draw with Sheffield United at the weekend
Jarrad Branthwaite believes Beto has provided his Everton side with a 'massive' boost to their confidence and has opened up about the talks he held with Sean Dyche during the summer.
Beto then followed up his impressive cameo against League Two Rovers when he was handed his Premier League debut against Sheffield United at the weekend. While he was unable to get himself on the scoresheet, Beto did win 12 duels and complete seven successful dribbles as his side picked up their first point of the season at Bramall Lane.
"With all the players that we have got coming back from injury, I think after the international break we have got to go again with a strong mentality. "It’s such a trait for us and him to be able to play both of those balls. It helps from pressure and getting up the pitch." Branthwaite, however, had already been made aware by his manager before he returned to start pre-season training that he would be given a chance to stake his claim, and it would be up to him to take it.
