BREAKING: Jason David Frank dead – Power Rangers star dies suddenly aged 49
Jason was best known for playing Tommy Oliver – the Green Power Ranger in 90s TV series the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers."Please respect the privacy of his family and friends during this horrible time as we come to terms with the loss of such a wonderful human being," his rep told TMZ.Jason made his Power Rangers debut in 1993, and was only supposed to star on 14 episodes of the popular show, but his contract was extended due to his popularity.
As well as the TV series, Jason starred in several film adaptions of the hit show, including Red Ranger, Black Ranger and a new Green Ranger.One person wrote: "Sad news about Jason David Frank. He was such a huge part of my childhood. My friends and I spent so much time playing Power Rangers and I always had a little crush on Tommy. I'm devastated. I hope he knows he was an important part of so many lives.
