Warren Slater, the father of Jay Slater who disappeared in Tenerife, has taken to TikTok to share new footage from the investigation and question the official theory. He doubts that his son could have walked the route described by investigators and suggests there may be more to the story.

His body was eventually found in a ravine in Rural de Teno park almost a month later, with a post-mortem finding that he died of head injuries, consistent with a fall from a height. One video was a slideshow of photos and videos, showing treks through the rocky hillsides of Rural De Teno park, fields of cactuses and glimpses inside abandoned buildings – set to techno track Insomnia by Faithless.
“They say that he has walked up the hill…seriously?” said Warren in the video. “I think there’s a lot of bulls**t going on truthfully…can anybody see a shortcut back to Los Cristianos?” Warren has since confirmed that, while it is his real account, footage from the island was not new but from the time of the investigation.
