The desperate search for missing teenager Jay Slater is now into its fifth day
Spanish police are beginning their re-search of a 'challenging' landscape in Tenerife in a bid to find missing British teenager Jay Slater - but say there have been 'no developments'.
However on Friday, Jay's friends who flew out to help were not present at the previous search site, in rural Masca, with just small numbers of tourists braving the drive to appreciate the surrounding scenery. A spokesperson for the Civil Guard said it could not confirm any more details amid the ongoing search.
His friend Lucy Mae Law last heard from him at around 8am on Monday morning when he called her to say his phone was going to die and that he needed water as was walking in 'the middle of nowhere'.
