JD Wetherspoon could be opening a new pub at a Haven holiday park in North Wales. The pub group is in talks with Haven to bring its pub experience to the Presthaven site. This would follow the success of their first partnership pub at the Primrose Valley Holiday Park in North Yorkshire.
Pub group JD Wetherspoon may soon be offering pints at a holiday park in North Wales . Haven , a leading holiday park operator, proposes to invite the brand to its site in the region. It was just last year when Haven declared they had entered an exclusive agreement with JD Wetherspoon to bring the pub experience to its sites making them the first UK holiday park operator to forge such a deal with the pub chain, which boasts over 830 pubs across the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
The alliance saw its inaugural pub open doors at Haven's Primrose Valley Holiday Park in North Yorkshire last March. Now there is a prospective plan for Presthaven holiday park in Prestatyn. Details of the proposal reveal an extension to the main building’s Mash and Barrel bar area, transforming it into The Boathouse pub. Architecture firm Harrison Ince's plans state: 'The proposed extension at Presthaven Beach Resort aims to enhance the overall guest experience while seamlessly integrating with the existing resort infrastructure. By prioritising high quality materials, sustainable design practices, and compliance with relevant regulations, the extension will provide modern amenities that cater to the diverse needs of our visitors.' They add: 'This development not only supports the resort's growth but also reinforces our commitment to sustainability and accessibility, ensuring that Presthaven Beach Resort remains a premier destination for leisure and relaxation. We believe this extension will contribute significantly to the local economy and community, fostering an inviting atmosphere that attracts both new and returning guests.', reports North Wales Live
