Jean Smart did impressions on 'The Late Show With Stephen Colbert', which included an impressive Dame Maggie Smith and a 'terrifying' Woody Woodpecker.
just revealed that she is more than an Emmy and Golden Globe winner when she unveiled a surprising hidden talent on"I'm going to," she said, drawing out the reveal, "for the first time ever, do impressions on national television." Colbert said he appreciates it when guests bring "a bit" to the show, which left Smart soft-selling her impressions. "Can you say you do impressions if you only do two? I only do two," she said.
When someone only has two impressions, you might expect there to be some kind of connection between them. Maybe their impressive British accent allows them to doand Woody Woodpecker. And she does them both quite well, even if she said Monday's performance wasn't her best Woody Woodpecker. "That is half funny, and half terrifying," Colbert said after hearing Smart's impression of the world's most annoying bird.
