Ian was one of the first stars to pay tribute to his on-screen father’s death, and he wrote: ‘So sad to hear we’ve lost another 90210 castmate.‘I had the pleasure of working with Jed Allan from 94 to 99. He played Rush Sanders, Steve’s father. Such a great guy to work with, he will be missed.Over the course of his career Jed also appeared in the hugely popular Days Of Our Lives, CHiPs, Lassie and Columbo.
Continuing to work for more than 60 years, he became lead characters in several shows, making 102 episodes as Days Of Our Lives’ character Don Craig, and more than 1,000 episodes of Santa Barbara over a seven-year period.
